Tram Chim National Park is local at Tam Nong District, Dong Thap province, it has a broad and diverse range of animals and plants in the Southern, Tram Chim became a national park in 1998 and then the fourth Ramsar site in Viet Nam.
The total area of Tram Chim National Park is more than 7500 ha, housing as many as 200 types of birds in value. Some of these birds have been put in the Red Book for a long time.
Coming to Tram Chim in dry season, visitors have chance to see birds flying on the vast mangrove fields including cranes 1.5m high weighting at 10-15kg each, purple herons with 1m span, and long-neck geese. Tram Chim National Park with natural history of ecology unique, surely it's ideal rendezvous place of tourists from all over the world
